WHERE WILL THE FESTIVAL TAKES PLACE?

The Festival is located on Smith Street in front of the Burton Cummings Theatre and will feature hours of entertainment running each day, the LUXE Barbeque Company Pit Master Championship BBQ competition, food trucks, retail vendors, sponsor displays, Manitoba Pork BBQ Village Stage on Saturday, and more. In addition to the outdoor activities, featured acts including headliners Creedence Clearwater Revisited and Laith Al‐Saadi / Tinsley Ellis Band will perform inside the Burton Cummings Theatre.

DO I NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND THE FESTIVAL?

Yes, tickets are required to enter the Street Festival site and also to attend any of the shows inside the Burton
Cummings Theatre.

2 Day Festival & Concert Pass ‐ $129.00/ $99.00 / $69.00 (plus fees).
INCLUDES Street Festival access as well as a reserved seat for all shows inside Burton Cummings Theatre.

Friday Festival & Concert Pass (headliner Creedence Clearwater Revisited in the Burt) – $79.00/$59.00/$39.00 (plus fees).
INCLUDES Street Festival access as well as a reserved seat for all shows inside the Burton Cummings Theatre
on Friday only.

Saturday Festival & Concert Pass (headliner Laith Al‐Saadi in the Burt) – $59.00/$49.00/$39.00 (plus fees).
INCLUDES Street Festival Site access as well as shows inside the Burton Cummings Theatre on Saturday only.

Street Festival Pass — $20.00 per day – access to outdoor street festival only, including outdoor
entertainment, food, beverage, sponsor and vendor areas, BBQ competition area, etc.

KIDS 12 and under get free admission to the Street Festival but require a ticket for shows inside the Burton Cummings Theatre if they are over 2.

CAN TICKETS BE BOUGHT AT THE DOOR/GATE?

Yes, but subject to availability/capacity of the Street Festival site and the Burton Cummings Theatre. To avoid disappointment, we highly recommend purchasing in advance at www.ticketmaster.ca , any Ticketmaster outlet, or by phone at 1.855.985.5000.

IF I BUY A 2‐DAY OR 1‐DAY FESTIVAL & CONCERT PASS, DO I HAVE TO PAY AN EXTRA $20/DAY TO ACCESS THE FESTIVAL SITE?

No, concert passes include Street Festival site access for both days.

IF I BUY FESTIVAL ACCESS ONLY FOR $20/DAY THEN DECIDE I WANT TO ATTEND CONCERTS INSIDE THE BURTON CUMMINGS THEATRE, CAN I UPGRADE?

Yes, subject to availability, you can upgrade to a concert pass – the $20 you paid for your Street Festival Pass will be credited towards your purchase.

DOES THE FESTIVAL HAPPEN INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Both. The Street Festival happens on Smith Street in front of the Burton Cummings Theatre with entertainment outside as well as featured acts appearing inside the Burton Cummings Theatre. Food, beverages, retail and sponsor displays, the LUXE Barbeque Company Pit Master Championship BBQ competitor area, and the Manitoba Pork BBQ Village Stage will all be located outside on Smith Street. Some food and beverage service will also be available inside the Burt.

WILL THE FESTIVAL GO RAIN OR SHINE?

Yes! Dress accordingly.

CAN I TASTE THE FOOD FROM THE BBQ COMPETITORS?

On Saturday at 7pm, while supplies last, the Manitoba Pork People’s Choice Competition gives the public an opportunity to purchase samples prepared by pro‐BBQ competitors. Plates containing 5 samples each will be available for $10 each (cash only). Patrons will be provided with a ballot so they can vote for their favorite and a winner will be announced on the outdoor stage later that evening.

CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES?

No. The Burton Cummings Theatre and outside Street Festival site are fully licensed and governed by provincial liquor guidelines. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Outside alcohol cannot be brought into the Festival for any reason.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed anywhere at the Festival.

MAY I BRING A LAWNCHAIR TO THE FESTIVAL?

A limited quantity of folding chairs will be available on site but feel free to bring a lawnchair. If you are attending concerts inside the Burton Cummings Theatre you will be asked to store your lawnchair at a designated area.

CAN I BRING A TARP OR BLANKET TO SIT ON?

No. Unfortunately, due to space limitations, ground tarps or blankets will not be permitted.

ARE WASHROOMS FACILITIES PROVIDED ON SITE?

Yes. Full service washrooms and hand wash facilities will be available.

IS THERE AN ATM ON SITE?

Yes, an ATM is available inside the Burton Cummings Theatre. Most bars and food vendors will accept debit, credit, and cash. Saturday’s People Choice sampling event is cash only.

IS THERE CAMPING ALLOWED ON THE SITE?

No.

IS THE STREET FESTIVAL SITE & BURTON CUMMINGS THEATRE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

The Street Festival site is wheelchair accessible. Burton Cummings Theatre wheelchair accessible seating is limited and should be arranged in advance – contact Ticketmaster for more information.

WHAT FOOD & BEVERAGES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?

Patrons can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options including:

  • Up South BBQ
  • BBK’S BBQ
  • Maple Whisky Ribs
  • Little Bones Chicken Wings
  • Habanero Sombrero
  • The Poutine King
  • Fresh Squeezed Lemonade
  • Soft drinks, water, beer, wine, coolers, and a Festival signature cocktail.

IS THERE PARKING NEARBY?

Downtown offers a variety of parking options including street parking and private lots in the surrounding area.
