Food and Product Demos from Manitoba Pork and Luxe Barbeque Company will take place Saturday afternoon beginning at 2:40 p.m.

WHERE WILL THE FESTIVAL TAKE PLACE?
The Festival is located on Smith Street in front of the Burton Cummings Theatre and will feature hours of entertainment running each day. Multiple BBQ food stations, retail vendors and sponsor displays will also be onsite. In addition to the outdoor activities, featured acts including headliners The Fabulous Thunderbirds and The Blind Boys of Alabama will perform inside the Burton Cummings Theatre.

DO I NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND THE FESTIVAL?
Tickets are not required to enter the Street Festival site. Tickets are required for the headlining shows within the Burton Cummings Theatre.

KIDS 12 and under get free admission to the Street Festival but require a ticket for shows inside the Burton Cummings Theatre if they are over 2.

CAN BURTON CUMMINGS THEATRE HEADLINER TICKETS BE BOUGHT AT THE DOOR?
Yes, but subject to availability. To avoid disappointment, we highly recommend purchasing in advance at www.ticketmaster.ca or by phone at 1.855.985.5000.

DOES THE FESTIVAL HAPPEN INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Both. The free Street Festival happens on Smith Street in front of the Burton Cummings Theatre with entertainment outside as well as featured acts appearing inside the Burton Cummings Theatre (tickets required).  Food, beverages, retail and sponsor displays will all be located outside on Smith Street.  Some food and beverage service will also be available inside the Burt.

WILL THE FESTIVAL GO RAIN OR SHINE?
Yes!  Dress accordingly.

CAN I TASTE THE FOOD FROM THE MANITOBA PORK BACKYARD BBQ COMPETITON?
Yes. Full and sample portions of these incredible original recipes will be available for sale at this year’s festival. Patrons can vote for their favorite and a winner will be announced on the outdoor stage Saturday evening. Voting information will be provided onsite. One vote per day.

Voters will be entered to win a Manitoba Pork prize package!

CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES?
No. The Burton Cummings Theatre and outside Street Festival site are fully licensed and governed by provincial liquor guidelines.  Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.  Outside alcohol cannot be brought into the Festival for any reason.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?
With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed at the Festival.

MAY I BRING A LAWNCHAIR TO THE FESTIVAL?
A limited quantity of folding chairs will be available on site but feel free to bring a lawn chair.  If you are attending concerts inside the Burton Cummings Theatre you will be asked to store your lawn chair at a designated area. The Festival is not responsible for stolen or lost chairs.

CAN I BRING A TARP OR BLANKET TO SIT ON?
No. Unfortunately, due to space limitations, ground tarps or blankets will not be permitted.

ARE WASHROOMS FACILITIES PROVIDED ON SITE?
Yes.  Full service washrooms and hand wash facilities will be available.

IS THERE AN ATM ON SITE?
Yes. An ATM is available inside the Burton Cummings Theatre. Outdoor patrons are able to access the ATM during Festival hours.

WHAT IS THE CAMERA POLICY?
Professional cameras are prohibited unless accompanied by appropriate facility media credentials. Video cameras and audio recorders are also prohibited unless specifically approved.

IS THERE RE-ENTRY AT THE BURTON CUMMINGS THEATRE FOR THIS FESTIVAL?
Yes. There is re-entry for the BBQ & Blues Festival concerts.

IS THERE CAMPING ALLOWED ON THE SITE?
No.

IS THE STREET FESTIVAL SITE & BURTON CUMMINGS THEATRE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
The Street Festival site is wheelchair accessible.  Burton Cummings Theatre wheelchair accessible seating is limited and should be arranged in advance – contact Ticketmaster for more information.

WHAT FOOD & BEVERAGES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?
There will be multiple booths with various BBQ food offerings and side dishes, as well as lemonade, mini donuts and gelato. Click here: www.winnipegbbqandblues.ca/food for more information.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND BEVERAGE TO THE FESTIVAL?
Single serve food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. Outside alcohol is not permitted – all patrons are subject to a security search upon entry.

IS THERE PARKING NEARBY?

Lost and Found is at the Box Office in the Burton Cummings Theatre.
